WOOOOO YES WOOO YEAAH WE ARE IN DECEMBER!!!!
That means one thing ITS CHRISTMASSSSSSS
*Cue Christmas music in shops everywhere, decs and trees*
Now if you’ve been passed out drunk for the last few days you may not have noticed but we are in December! Yep that’s right, you’ve survived 11 months of 2015 and haven’t they gone fast?
I have bought all of my Christmas gifts for my family and friends too (and wrapped them). The thing is with Christmas, it’s never too early to start because once it’s done and out of the way, that’s it for another year. So I tend to get my stuff at the end of November/start of December and luckily I went to London on the weekend so got it all done there.
God, that was an adventure. Anyone who follows me on twitter (not irl cause that’s weird), will know I missed my train to get home and had to get a different train and then a lift home. Luckily I met some lovely people on the train and was helped out loads. Also, a massive thanks to those guys and the lovely staff at Paddington Station & the guy who helped me to the Bakerloo line all the way from the Northern Line, tysm I would’ve missed the next train had I not had all of your help.
Anyway, I bought a lot of presents that day and safe to say I think I was nearly carrying my own body weight home.
But I loved it all the same, I walked down Oxford Street. Well, I say walked, more like shuffled, groaned, wedged my way through Oxford Street as I went down on a Saturday in the middle of the day. But it was so good! I went to the Lush store, HMV, Waterstones, MUJI, Boots and The Body Shop.
I would show you what I bought but…. spoilers 😉
I also went to Birmingham the next day (I have done a lot of travelling this week my feet feel like I’ve ran a marathon) and got wrapping paper and macaroons. I had never tried macaroons before and I picked up a few Violet and Raspberry ones as well as a Lemon one. Safe to say I loved them. They are so light and fluffy and gorgeous!
Then on the Wednesday I went to Worcester to help my mum get some of her Christmas shopping done. I’m not kidding, my feet feel so worn out. But as I gave her my Waterstones £10 worth of points type voucher thing, she gave me £10 so I bought Ant-Man. *parties*
So as you can see I’ve not had much time to make a December TBR. But here it is, my last TBR of 2015. I hardly read in November 😦 I just felt so exhausted all the time so I just collapsed into my bed at night and I was ill for a good proportion of the month.
I firstly want to talk about how many ARC’s/Books that have been sent to me by publishers as there are a lot.
Ranging from Front Lines from Electric Monkey, to a whopping 6 books sent to me from mykindabook. I am going to be reading a few of those this month as I’d like to get a head start on my reviews which I hope to type a few up and queue them up so they will publish on days I have no time to post. But here is my official TBR for December 2015.
As you can see there are quite a few books on these photos, some I must stress are re-reads others are proofs. And some are Christmas books I wanna read. But also, I’ve put a lot there to have as a “Pick any book” and not have too much stress on it.
