Today I’m bringing you my stop on the Dare To Fall Blog Tour!
Massive thanks to Ink Road for providing me with a copy!
And I thought instead of a review post I’d give you my top 5 reasons as to why you need this book in your life!!
1: 4th Book by Estelle Maskame
Now if you’ve been on twitter recently you’ll have no doubt seen a lot of buzz around Estelle. And trust me, she is worth the buzz! At 20 years old Estelle has published 4 books. 4! At 20 I am still have existential crisis, reading fanfictions and singing Burn. I applaud Estelle for having released 4 books! She is also Scottish!!
2: The Cover is to die for
We are all guilty of it. We will buy books based upon what they look like AND the font size inside. If you’re reading a physical book you need to feel comfy reading it but also you want it to look pretty! And Dare To Fall does just that!
I mean just look at that. Gold foil, pinks, blues and purples blended together. Daaaaaamn that is one cute ass cover!!
3: It’s set in America.
Now that may have you curious as to why a Scottish author has wrote a contemporary set in America. Well it had me curious but nevertheless Estelle captures America in such a way that has me wanting to start speaking in an American accent and ask for Pop instead of Coke. Regardless of this fact it was a very cute contemporary and it being set in a location alien to my own was a bonus!
4: The first chapter left me crying.
It’s rare to find a book that leaves you in such an emotional state. It’s even rarer to find one that does this AFTER THE FIRST CHAPTER.
5: THERES ANOTHER CHARACTER WHO WILL MAKE YOU ADD AN EXPLETIVE BEFORE THEIR NAME!
Obviously I’m not revealing who because SPOILERS.
But I hope this lil pit stop on the Dare To Fall Blog Tour has you curious enough to buy the book:

As an American, I giggled about you wanting to speak with an American accent after reading this book. I’m assuming this book takes place in the midwest as that’s where people say pop! I live in California where it is most definitely called soda ๐ Also, the cover is gorgeous!

That cover really is stunning! Although I’m surprised to hear that it’s a contemporary, as based on the cover alone I would have guessed it was a fantasy or a dystopian. Just goes to show you shouldn’t judge books by their covers!
